The fall and winter holidays will be upon us before we know it! Why not level up on your design and selling skills to elevate your seasoned or brand new business. There are a plethora of opportunities to create and sell your skills for home and corporate designs for Thanksgiving, Rosh Hashanah, Christmas, Hannukah and more

Join us for two days of learning & creating in Forest Grove, Oregon (just 45 min outside Portland) with Continental Floral Greens where you will be given a private tour of their expansive farm and also design right in the fields as well as in their antique wooden greenhouses that will make any botanical lover swoon!

Continental Floral Greens produces and harvests at four properties throughout the country. The Forest Grove farm is where they focus on growing oregonia, boxwood, quince, smokebush, forsythia and peonies, among so many other unique textural winter greens and berries unique to the Pacific Northwest. We will be working with product from all their farms and regions in our designs.

The focus of this workshop is Holiday Designs & Decor and perfect for the end of September as we head into the next three months of holiday retail, corporate and event requests. It will be the perfect refresh or intro into how to design, install and sell retail designs and large home/corporate installations to your clients. We will be focusing on table design and styling for intimate gatherings for both fall and winter as well as large foam free installations for doorways, mantles etc that can transition from fall to winter

Jennifer Reed of Jennifer Designs Events will be teaching alongside Kelly Shore of Petals by the Shore. These two seasoned designers both have many years of experience in the retail world as well as wedding and special events. Their combined floral experience spans 40+ years.

Jennifer and Kelly have been teaching and working together since 2019 when they met at a floral workshop in New Jersey and realized they have very similar levels of hustle, energy, aesthetic, attention to detail and desire to connect and empower their peers. They both love the smaller group settings where they can really connect with their attendees and give them the attention that is not always given during many workshops and conferences. With that said the workshop is only open to 10 attendees.

Their goal is for you to leave this two day workshop with the skills and tools to take back to your studios or homes and successfully execute and grow your business. While this is geared toward the professional florist it is also open to those curious about the floral industry and the possibility of opening their own business.
